Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 November 2026
The short version.
- Everything Mindsip knows about your reading lives on your iPhone.
- There is no account. We never ask for your name or email address.
- Apple handles every payment. RevenueCat confirms your subscription, never what you read.
- Meta helps us see whether our ads bring people to the app. Your advertising identifier is shared only if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
What stays on your iPhone
Mindsip keeps your reading activity on your device. That includes the ideas you have opened and read, the lines you keep, the ideas and paths you save, your Review schedule, your streak, your goals and rest day, your topics, your reminder time, your appearance and text size, and a random app ID created on your iPhone.
There are no reader accounts, and no name or email address is asked for. Searching the paths happens on your device, and reminders are scheduled on your device.
What leaves your device
Two things, and nothing else:
- Purchases. Apple handles payments. RevenueCat is used to check whether your subscription is active. It receives the random app ID and your purchase records from Apple. Neither Apple nor RevenueCat receives your reading history from Mindsip.
- Ad measurement. Mindsip includes Meta's app events software so we can tell whether our ads on Meta's platforms bring people to the app. When the app opens, it sends Meta standard app events, such as the app being installed and opened, with technical details about the device. It never sends what you read or keep. If you allow tracking when iOS asks, Meta may also receive your device's advertising identifier, which links your install to an ad you saw. If you decline, Mindsip tells Meta's software that tracking is off and your advertising identifier is not shared. Nothing about your reading changes either way.
Mindsip does not use an analytics service and shows no ads inside the app. Meta's use of the data it receives is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy. RevenueCat's is covered by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Support, the full terms, the full privacy policy and "Ask for a topic" in search open a web page in your browser. The app sends nothing with them.
Your choices
- Tracking. Change it any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

- Your data. Erase it in Mindsip's Settings › Delete my data, or delete the app. See Data deletion for the details.

Changes
If what Mindsip does with data changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
